High Cloud Workshops and Holiday Party were held for Children at Pronoei Rayito de Sol in Peru

The High Clouders brought smiles of joy to many underpriveleged children in Lima, Peru during the Holidays! High Clouders also provided Educational Workshops focused on: 1.) Importance of Christmas 2.) Nutrition: What are fruits and vegetables and the importance of each 3.) Health: Importance of drinking water (this is crucial since it is Summer in Peru) 4.) Tested the students on numbers and letters.

After the workshops the party began with hot chocolate and fruit cake. Once the children were finished the gifts and other surprises were brought out for each child with their name on each gift. Three of the kids were not present and have not been back in school since June. The three gifts that were left over were given to the best student’s ages 3, 4, and 5.

A large stuffed monkey (donated) was also given out in a raffle with three of the kids that have perfect attendance participating. Jordan one of the children was the winner of the monkey. He started to cry because he wanted the monkey from the beginning. For the mothers a book bag was raffled off (donated).

All the children, mothers and teachers were very happy with the workshops and party.

High Cloud supported the Greek Community

On Saturday May 17th, High Cloud supported the Greek Community at Saint Sophia's Cathedral to celebrate the traditions, culture and amazing cuisine of Greece.

The event was composed of a tour of the Cathedral, a live band and Greek dance, hand-made artisans and wonderful people. Thanks to Anna Maria Angeliak's from Athens Grill (http://www.athensgrill.com/) who treated us to taste an exquisite Greek Olive Oil. Also, special thanks to Konstatinos who introduced us to a wealth of Greek cheeses and treats.

High Cloud Leads a Humanitarian Mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

The High Cloud Brazilian Team conducted a wonderful philanthropic trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in April 2008 to help the 100 children, orphans and babies of "Roupa Suja" one of the poorest neighborhoods in South America. As we know, the High Cloud Foundation conducts a number of workshops internationally on such topics as education (math, science, language, etc), health care, sports, environment conservation and multiple others. For the children of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the High Cloud Team created a workshop on nutrition and health care. Countless hours of work, commitment and passion enabled the High Cloud Team to reach children and orphans of all ages as well as the community of Roupa Suja. High Cloud also coordinated the shipment of food supplies such as: oatmeal, dry milk, rice, beans, pasta, fruits, vegetables, among other nutritional foods.

The High Cloud Team also brought the children school supplies such as: notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, crayons, among others as well as educational videos. The opportunity to travel while conducting philanthropic activities and work on projects with different cultures is simply priceless. There is nothing like it, especially if you have a passion for empowering others and meeting people from all over the world. When we do this we are living our dream.

High Cloud brings Christmas Celebrations to children in a rural school in Colombia, South America

On Christmas Eve in Colombia, South America, the members of High Cloud Foundation met with the community and children of "El Limonar" school located in the town of San Luis Tolima, to celebrate Christmas. The High Cloud Team began the event by participating in a live nativity ceremony created by the children and singing Christmas carols. Later, the children performed some traditional holiday acts and after the performances culminated, the High Cloud Team shared some Christmas refreshments and hors' deovres with the families as well as the children and delivered countless Christmas gifts. The presents included toys, Barbie dolls, carts, miniature pool table, Disney clocks, games, airplanes, beauty accessories, among others. The children were extremely happy and thankful with all the activities and happiness that the High Cloud Foundation had brought to them.

The families of the San Luis municipality as well as the children of the "El Limonar" school sent a warm thank you to the Founders and the High Cloud team for their generosity, the activities and the gifts that filled them with so much hope and happiness.
